Affinity-v3 is constantly freezing whenever I try to modify "Lightning" live filter

Describe the bug All the time when I add "Lightning" live filter to my image, the filter is working fine, i.e. I can modify its parameters. But if I try to move guides there - it will always freeze Affinity. To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Drop any image into the document or just open it from Affinity. Click on the Hourglass icon (filters) at the bottom of layer panel. Select "Lightning". Try to move guides when filter settings is open. Screenshots Environment NixOS Unstable; Kernel 7.0.11; GPU: RTX 4060; Nvidia Drivers: 610.43.02 DE: KDE Plasma (on Wayland) Additional context I put verbose log into text file, because it's too big. affinity-v3.txt

VimWiki

I have verified that this feature request has not been made before I have checked the issues tab, and did not find a similar feature request. I understand that my issue will be closed if it is a duplicate. Feature Type New Plugin Feature description I am quite a fan of https://github.com/vimwiki/vimwiki and of nvf, but I'm not confident enough to set it up manually. Neorg is kind of cool but overly complicated IMO, but VimWiki seems to be the most minimalist notetaking plugin, and I would love to be able to use it with nvf. Obviously this could just be something that I set up myself, so I don't expect it to be a priority!! But I figured I should request it since nobody else has yet :) Alternatives I have tried Neorg, but I believe it is over-complicated for my use case, I just want to take notes, but the Neorg project is trying to become a full fledged life-organiser. Additional Context No response

Arc Pro B support needs to be improved

Bug Description Two improvements from a downstream Battlemage (Arc Pro B70) deployment I've been running comfyui-nix on an Arc Pro B70 (Xe2 / Battlemage / xe-kmd) host and hit two issues that needed downstream patches. Both have clean fixes that would benefit anyone running on Intel XPU. 1. nix/patches/comfyui-cpu-fallback.patch is CUDA-only — bricks XPU and MPS hosts What the patch currently does + # Fallback to CPU if CUDA is not available and we're not on MPS + # This fixes running on Linux systems without NVIDIA GPUs + if cpu_state == CPUState.GPU: + if not torch.cuda.is_available(): + cpu_state = CPUState.CPU The problem The comment says "we're not on MPS", but the code only checks torch.cuda.is_available(). On any host where Intel XPU (or MPS) is the only GPU, this unconditionally clobbers cpu_state to CPUState.CPU, even though ComfyUI's own is_intel_xpu() would (correctly) return True immediately afterwards. Observed symptom on Arc Pro B70 (gpuSupport = "xpu"): t

vsock support with vfkit runner

Hello, I wanted to set up a vfkit backed microvm with user-mode networking while having the ability to ssh into it and this is generally possible with vsock channel, however as of now this is not implemented microvm.nix/lib/runners/vfkit.nix Lines 117 to 118 in 2f2f62f else if vsock.cid != null then throw "vfkit vsock support not yet implemented in microvm.nix" As mentioned in a PR that introduced darwin integration, vfkit does support virtio-vsock communication, so it's a matter of how it has to be exposed by microvm, not a vfkit limitation. Ideally, I would like to have systemd-vmspawn-like experience with microvm.nix, where this channel setup happens transparently and for that some additional ssh config plumbing is required. Of course, microvm.nix should present this option in the most general way, so I wonder what would be the mi

Use smbios to pass systemd credentials instead of fw_cfg

According to systemd/systemd#24204 https://github.com/systemd/systemd/blob/78208556b281bd6ee8a95d16a517152728010475/docs/CREDENTIALS.md?plain=1#L303 fw_cfg has a 55 bytes name length limit, and many systemd creds names are actually longer than that, e.g. opt/io.systemd.credentials/ssh.ephemeral-authorized_keys-all. SMBIOS is the new recommended way to pass in credentials.

ComfyUI crashes on image generation on AMD 395 AI MAX+

Bug Description I'm trying to use the flake on my GMKTec evo-x2. Whenever I try to generate an image with a very basic flow (model to clip to KSampler to VAE Decode to preview) ComfyUI seems to crash and then restart. This always happenes at the model loading stage. Steps to Reproduce Click on run My ComfyUI config: services.comfyui = { enable = true; gpuSupport = "rocm"; enableManager = true; listenAddress = "127.0.0.1"; port = 8188; dataDir = "/home/simon/comfyui"; createUser = false; user = "simon"; group = "users"; }; I also tried setting HSA_OVERRIDE_GFX_VERSION = "11.5.0"; which works with ollama (see https://github.com/Ilosariph/nixos-config/blob/main/no-desktop/machines/evo/ollama.nix) Currently using this flake input because of the frog issue: comfyui-nix = { url = "github:jjthiessen/comfyui-nix/fix-issue-31"; }; Expected Behavior The image generates. Error Logs Here is the `journalctl -u comfyui -f --output cat`: got prompt model weight dtype tor

FR: battery for flake-parts independent system access

We currently have flake-parts inputs' and self' support. I wrote a tiny system' function, used like this vic.everywhere.nixos = { pkgs, system', ... }: { users.users.vic.packages = [ (system' inputs.helium).packages.helium ]; }; maybe that can be useful to others now that Den explicitly supports non-flakes and non-flake-parts.
