Currently, names produced in generated LLVM code are not consistently mangled to ensure they don't clash with one another or with user-written code. We should think through how much mangling is needed for this, and implement it consistently for all generated names in LLVM code.

It would be good if the compiler can give warnings on unused variable declarations. In the following example, the x variable is unused: def foo { ?x = 42 } This should help reduce the occurrence of issues like #560.

There appears to be a typo on line 100 of list.wybe, which is causing the procedure to not work as expected. pub def filter(p:{test}(T), !xs:_(T)) { ?out = [] for ?x in xs { if { p(x) :: ?out = [x | out] } } ?as = reverse(out) # should be `xs` }

Currently, the interface for lpvm mutate looks like this: foreign lpvm mutate(struct:type, ?struct2:type, offset:int, destructive:bool, size:int, start_offset:int, member:type2) It is common to have struct and struct2 named the same. I propose we add a variant for this proc that allows for ! on the first argument foreign lpvm mutate( !struct:type, offset:int, destructive:bool, size:int, start_offset:int, member:type2) which has the same semantics as the former except that ?struct2 = struct after the call. We can trivially eliminate this variant in the flattening stage.
