Summary Improve the editor file explorer so it behaves more like a normal project tree: Show dotfiles and dot-directories, such as .gitignore and .venv. Refresh the file explorer tree after files or directories are created, renamed, or deleted. Current behavior The file explorer can omit dot-prefixed entries. It also does not always reflect structural changes after file operations, so the tree can become stale until the view is reopened or otherwise refreshed. Desired behavior Dot-prefixed files and directories appear in the explorer by default. Creating a new file or directory updates the explorer immediately. Renaming a file or directory updates the displayed name/path immediately. Deleting a file or directory removes it from the explorer immediately. The refresh should preserve reasonable UI state where possible, such as expanded parent directories and selection when the selected item still exists. Suggested implementation notes Look for the file explorer tree loading/filtering

Summary When a file path (absolute or relative) appears in terminal output, Cmd+Click on it opens that file in the editor in the current tab — without leaving the terminal workflow. Motivation Terminal output frequently contains file paths: ls, compiler errors, test failures, grep results, cargo check, go build, etc. Today users must manually copy the path and navigate to it. Clickable paths eliminate that friction and make the terminal-to-editor loop instant. Proposed Behavior While holding Cmd, hovering over a recognized file path in terminal output underlines it (same visual affordance as a hyperlink). Cmd+Click on the path opens the file in the editor tab. Supported path forms: Absolute paths: /Users/alice/project/src/main.rs Relative paths resolved against the terminal's current working directory: src/main.rs, ./Cargo.toml Paths with line/column suffixes common in compiler output: src/main.rs:42, src/main.rs:42:10 — opens at the correct line and column. Only paths that exi

Summary Pressing Cmd+P in the editor opens a quick-open palette that lets users fuzzy-search and jump to any file in the current workspace. Motivation Navigating a project by clicking through the file explorer tree is slow for large codebases. A keyboard-driven fuzzy file picker is the fastest way to open files and is a baseline expectation for any code editor. Proposed Behavior Cmd+P opens a floating palette centered at the top of the editor area. The input field is focused immediately; typing filters the file list with fuzzy matching. Results show the filename prominently and the relative path in a secondary, lower-opacity line. Enter or click opens the selected file in the current tab. Escape or clicking outside dismisses the palette without action. Arrow keys (↑ / ↓) navigate the result list; the selected row is highlighted with the accent color. Recently opened files appear at the top when the query is empty. Acceptance Criteria Cmd+P opens the palette from anywhere in the

Summary Show language-specific icons next to file names in the editor's file explorer, making it easier to scan and identify files at a glance. Motivation A plain file list with no visual differentiation forces users to read every filename extension to understand what they're looking at. Language icons provide instant recognition and are a standard expectation in modern editors. Proposed Behavior Each file in the file explorer tree displays a small icon that reflects its language or file type. Icons are sourced from the existing Phosphor Icons set already bundled in assets/icons/phosphor/, supplemented by devicons available via the patched IoskeleyMono Nerd Font glyphs where a Phosphor icon doesn't exist. Suggested initial coverage: Extension(s) Icon .rs Rust crab / ferris glyph .py Python snake glyph .go Go gopher glyph .ts, .tsx TypeScript icon .js, .jsx JavaScript icon .toml, .yaml, .yml, .json config/gear icon .md markdown icon .sh, .zsh, .bash terminal i

Summary Add LSP (Language Server Protocol) integration to the built-in editor so users can navigate code with Cmd+Click to jump to definitions, declarations, and references. Motivation Code navigation is a core productivity feature in any editor. Without go-to-definition, users must manually search for symbols across files, which breaks flow — especially in larger codebases. Proposed Behavior Cmd+Click on a symbol opens its definition in the current tab (or a split, if already viewing the same file). Supported languages on day one: Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript. Each language uses its standard LSP server: Python → pylsp or pyright Rust → rust-analyzer Go → gopls TypeScript → typescript-language-server LSP servers are discovered from $PATH automatically; no mandatory config required. Hover tooltip shows the symbol's type signature while holding Cmd (before clicking). Acceptance Criteria LSP client lifecycle (start / stop / restart on crash) managed per workspace root. t
