Steps to reproduce Configure account provisioning with "Use master password" (and a master user, 5.12.0+), so provisioned accounts work without the user's login password Log in to Nextcloud with a passwordless backend, e.g. user_oidc (the session's login password is empty) Open Mail, stay on the account's INBOX (or the unified/priority inbox) without touching the page Send a message to the account from outside Expected behavior The new message appears in the open INBOX within the regular polling interval, as it does for a user who logged in with a password. Actual behavior The message does not appear, even after ten minutes and with app.mail.background-sync-interval set to 300. It appears immediately when switching to another folder and back, or on a page reload. The unread counter may update earlier than the list. Cause, as far as we can read it (v5.12.3) PageController::index() sets the initial state password-is-unavailable to true when the login credentials hold no password, whic

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. In the advanced Mail search dialog, the From and To autocomplete dropdowns currently display only the address label/display name. For example: John Smith This becomes ambiguous when: multiple people have the same display name the user does not recognize the display name the same person uses multiple email addresses a collected address contains a useful display name but the actual email address is needed to identify it The underlying autocomplete result already contains both label and email, but only the label is displayed. Describe the solution you'd like Display both the label and email address in the From and To autocomplete dropdown. For example: John Smith ([email protected]) If the label is already identical to the email address, show only the email address: [email protected] This should apply both to: dropdown options the selected option The search/filter value itself should remain the email address, so

Steps to reproduce Send email containing .ics attachment with MIME type set to application/octet-stream Open email in Nextcloud calendar Attempt to add attached event to Calendar Expected behavior Attachment is identified as a calendar event: Actual behavior Attachment listed without "Add to Calendar" option: Mail app version 5.12.0 Nextcloud version 34.0.4 Mailserver or service Gmail Operating system Debian LXC PHP engine version PHP 8.3 Nextcloud memory caching No response Web server Apache (supported) Database MariaDB Additional info I realize that application/octet-stream is a non-standard MIME-type for a calendar attachment, but this is something users have no control over. In this case, the email was sent from a local blood bank. Perhaps it would be more accessible to either: Allow for a list of custom mime types permitted for calendar attachments (still relatively brittle) Add a MIME bypass for files with extension .ics

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. From my understanding all rich text colors output by the editor are done so in HSL. As a result, certain E-Mail clients - namely Outlook Web App (Exchange Server) and Outlook (classic) - can't display the colors specified in an E-Mail sent through Nextcloud Mail. E-Mail viewed from the "Sent" Folder in Nextcloud Mail: E-Mail in Outlook Classic: E-Mail Source pulled from Outlook: f0460858_source.txt Describe the solution you'd like If nothing were to impede it, I imagine it'd be ideal to have the editor output RGB or hex colors by itself, as the alternative would involve sending its output through an intermediate step that does the conversion. Describe alternatives you've considered I've already attempted to create a patch which does that using 'color-convert', though only on the signature's output in src/components/SignatureSettings.vue > saveSignature(). Though an odd side-effect I get from that is that the rest of the E
