Bug Description We have a vinyl scope (Quality Report) update rate of 15 Hz. However the vinyl control processor generates the report at its maximum update rate. A timer flushes the signal quality reports in a while loop to the listeners which can be up to 256 at once, even though only the last one is visible. This creates the situation that we are "blind" in between. Is this an issue? Instead of using a timer putting a signal on the QT queue the processor should do it: mixxx/src/vinylcontrol/vinylcontrolprocessor.cpp Line 113 in e3e2f63 if (pProcessor && m_bReportSignalQuality) { Version No response OS No response

Bug Description When I exit mixxx with a deck playing and the About Mixxx properties window open it prompts "Mixxx is playing, are you sure you want to exit?" and then closes the main window, but keeps playing the song / loop until I close the About Mixxx window. Instead, it should close the About Mixxx window on exit, and Mixxx should quit. In contrast if the Properties window is open I get a 2nd prompt "Properties window is open. Disgard changes and exit?" and then Mixxx fully quits as expected. There is no need for a confirmation dialog if the About Mixxx window is open as there is no risk of lost changes. Reproducible on 2.5.5 and on 2.7 alpha builds. Version 2.5.5, 2.7 OS Windows 11 Home 25H2 x64

Bug Description We use "QAbstractItemView::setItemDelegateForColumn()" which does not take ownership of the delegate. When Mixxx is closed these delegates are not deleted and left behind. This is not an issue in this case but bad practice. Instead we should use uniqe_ptr to have a dedicated owner a std::vector member variable in WTrackTableView. Feature Description Can this implementation of the Spiral filter in mixxx be introduced as a single FX? edit (ronso0) forum reference, Spiral proposal by @Be-ing https://mixxx.discourse.group/t/pioneer-spiral-fx-equivalent/18156/2 Using a whole rack just for a single effect is annoying if you arent a single trick pony lol

Feature Description Problem: When live streaming/broadcasting, Mixxx updates metadata based on which deck has the highest volume every second. The current hardcoded threshold is 20% volume before a track is considered "audible." For techno/minimal mixing styles that use long blends with extended drum layering at 70-80% volume, this causes metadata to flip back and forth repeatedly between tracks during transitions, spamming incorrect track names to the stream/chat. Current Behavior: Track metadata updates based on highest volume deck 20% volume threshold is hardcoded Updates happen every second No user control over when metadata broadcasts Requested Feature: Add a preference setting under Preferences → Live Broadcasting to control metadata updates: 1: Adjustable volume threshold slider (20% - 90%) 2: Manual metadata update control (button/hotkey to trigger metadata change) 3: Delay timer (e.g., "only update if track stays loudest for X seconds") Use Case: I DJ techno /house live in
