I use LMS with Spotty daily for my multiroom setup. Two things have been bugging me enough to dig in and fix them. Spotify Connect is the mode every Spotify user expects — you see the speaker in the Spotify app, tap it, music plays. It's what commercial Spotify hardware integrations offer, and it's the experience no Spotify user wants to give up. When Connect was disabled in Spotty, my family stopped using multiroom entirely. The workaround was running RoPieee XL on each player, which brings its own Connect endpoint per player (via librespot) — but that means bypassing LMS completely, losing synchronized group playback and the LMS UI. What my fix does: Connect is re-enabled using an updated librespot helper binary (0.7 → 0.8). The plugin side was reimplemented: daemon lifecycle management, Spotify event dispatch (play, pause, volume, track changes), API control methods, and a settings UI for per-player Connect configuration.
