Actual grit fetch prints 'Already up to date'; refs/remotes/origin/gone1 and gone2 stay (git remote prune origin --dry-run would prune them) and there is no CLI way to remove them. No --prune flag, no remote prune, no way to delete remote

Kind: bug · Severity: low · Area: commit Steps to reproduce grit init r && cd r && git config user.name R && git config user.email [email protected] echo a > a.txt && grit commit -m one git checkout --detach echo y > e.txt; git status --short # ?? e.txt grit commit -m x; echo $? # error: HEAD is detached; grit commit needs a branch, exit 1 git status --short # A e.txt Expected A refused command changes nothing (the check for a detached HEAD should happen before staging); working tree and index are untouched. Actual Exit 1 with the error message, but e.txt (and any other modified/untracked files) is now staged in the index. Later grit switch then reports 'uncommitted changes' for what the user thought was untouched state, e.g. status shows 'Staged + new' and 'Changed (not staged) - deleted' after the file was removed. Environment grit 0.5.5 (release asset via https://grit-scm.com/install), macOS 15.7 arm64, system git 2.52.0 Found by automated dogfoodin

Kind: bug · Severity: medium · Area: commit Steps to reproduce date +%z # e.g. +0200 mkdir /tmp/tz && cd /tmp/tz && git init -q && git config user.name T && git config user.email [email protected] echo a > a && grit commit -m x git cat-file -p HEAD | grep -E '^(author|committer)' git var GIT_AUTHOR_IDENT Expected author/committer lines carry the local UTC offset like git (... 1791369363 +0200), as git var GIT_AUTHOR_IDENT shows, so git log displays the commit in the user's local time. Actual author T [email protected] 1791369363 +0000 committer T [email protected] 1791369363 +0000 (git var GIT_AUTHOR_IDENT: ... 1791369363 +0200). git log --format='%ad' therefore shows UTC instead of the local time; every grit-made commit loses the user's timezone. Reproduces with default TZ on release 0.5.0 and main. Environment grit main a868e7a and release 0.5.0; macOS 15.7 arm64 (Darwin 24.6.0), local zone CEST (+0200), git 2.52.0.
