Currently I'm managing two independent processes when releasing a new version: Creating and pushing docker tags as described in the comments on this file: https://github.com/carlnewton/habitat/blob/main/compose.prod.yaml Matching those tagged versions with tags in GitHub It's messy, manual and tiresome. It should be automated from the github CI Things to be careful of: Code accepted by community contributions could end up directly on the develop tag (shouldn't be a problem if I'm particular about what I accept) The webpack assets will need building ahead of the docker commit The cypress tests really need to be passing before it commits and pushes, so that's also a prerequisite here.
