A read of all glossary entries in September 2026 found status claims lagging one or two hard forks behind, and several terms the explainer pages use had no entry. The first tranche (Leios, Conway era, Chang, SanchoNet, Project Catalyst, treasury withdrawal, Amaru, Hydra, minPoolCost, constitution, Constitutional Committee, the Ouroboros Genesis wording, plus the new entries van Rossem, Dijkstra, Plutus and validator) is merged in #836. What is still open: Missing entries, in priority order: ouroboros-peras, ouroboros-praos, ouroboros-genesis, valentine, intersect, pragma, cardano-foundation, input-output, emurgo, midnight, partner-chains, cip-95, cip-105, cip-129, native-script. House name, decided: "Plutus" is the name of the smart contract platform and language family on the pages (see glossary/plutus.md). "Plinth" is used only for the Haskell toolchain formerly called Plutus Tx. No page copy needs to change for this. Smaller cleanups: src/data/termsForTermExplainer.json contradicts

Hello, if you can not keep up with the pull requests and issues, this is the single place to see where cardano.org is going in 2026. It ties together the work that already shipped this year, the open threads that build on it, and the issues where we are actively asking for help. If you want to contribute and don't know where to start, start here. Individual issues stay the source of truth for their own scope, this one is the map. Where we were Coming into 2026, cardano.org was a solid but static marketing site: good top-level pages, but a lot of them were one-shot content that had drifted from the current state of the protocol and the ecosystem. Governance had moved to Conway, the app/tools landscape had exploded, and the site's explanatory content still assumed a 2021 Cardano. The year's work has been about three things: rebuilding the high-traffic pages as living, data-backed tools, ranking the ecosystem by real on-chain activity instead of opinion, and laying a quality foundation (a

Phil (raised on X) makes a fair point: the current hero text doesn't actually answer "What is Cardano?" and reads more like a mission statement than a value proposition. Current copy is vague: ("changemakers, innovators, and visionaries") and doesn't tell a new visitor what Cardano does or why they should care: "Cardano is a blockchain platform for changemakers, innovators, and visionaries, with the tools and technologies required to create possibility for the many, as well as the few, and bring about positive global change." Let's rework this into something concrete and clear.

The "build"-nav section links directly to developer resources and the Developer Portal, but there is no persuasion layer for developers evaluating Cardano against other chains. A developer landing on /developers/ today gets tooling links without context on why Cardano is worth their time. This page could cover: Cardano's technical differentiators (eUTXO model, native assets without smart contracts, deterministic fees, etc) Developer ecosystem overview (Aiken, Mesh, Lucid, open-source repos, Builder Fest, hackathons) Practical advantages (predictable transaction costs, liquid staking without locking, custody, slashing) Ecosystem momentum (active community, number of projects, active developers, GitHub activity, funding methods) Clear next steps linking to the Developer Portal, starter tutorials, and community channels Target audience: developers already familiar with blockchain who are comparing options. This page sits between the main site and the Developer Portal, bridging the "why" b

Currently cardano.org has no forward-looking roadmap page. In the past we had https://roadmap.cardano.org/ and the /hardforks/ page only lists past upgrades. Needed: a visual, interactive roadmap showing Cardano's current development trajectory, major upcoming milestones, what is in the pipeline with Leios, interoperability, node diversity, Cardano Lightning project, ZK, privacy, etc. I'm sharing this as a proposal, not a final spec. If you think this page should be structured differently, cover additional topics, or be deprioritized in favor of something else, please let me know.
