What problem does this solve? Paperling already resolves [[wikilinks]] and relative [text](note.md) links, and it can search across files. The missing half of linking is discovering which notes point AT the file you are reading. This is the one genuinely useful idea from knowledge tools that still fits a lightweight editor with no vaults, and it does not require a full graph view. Proposed solution A backlinks panel (a sidebar like the outline or file explorer) that lists every markdown file in the current folder that links to the open file, with a short snippet of context and the ability to open the result in a tab. Implementation pointers Reuse the existing folder scan. The Rust search_files command in src-tauri/src/commands.rs already walks the folder's markdown files. A sibling command, or an extra parameter, could find references to a given file name. Match both [[Name]] wikilinks and relative ](Name.md) links. Render it like src/components/FileExplorer.tsx or src/components/Tabl

We have a Scoop manifest in packaging/scoop/marklite.json, but it's marked experimental because it extracts the NSIS installer via the #/dl.7z trick. Scoop is happiest with a portable app, which MarkLite doesn't currently produce. What to do Add a build step (in release.yml or a small script) that zips the unpacked MarkLite.exe + its resources into MarkLite_<version>_x64-portable.zip, and attach it to the release. Update packaging/scoop/marklite.json to point url at the zip (drop the #/dl.7z and bin/extract_dir workarounds) and verify scoop install works. Acceptance scoop install ./packaging/scoop/marklite.json installs and runs MarkLite cleanly. Eligible to submit to the Scoop extras bucket. See packaging/README.md for context.
