Currently the reconfigure vm dialogs are "hard-coded" in the ui-classic controller (https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-ui-classic/blob/master/app/controllers/mixins/actions/vm_actions/reconfigure.rb and https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-ui-classic/blob/master/app/javascript/components/reconfigure-vm-form/index.jsx) Attempts were made to allow the providers to opt-in or out of specific parts of reconfigure, e.g. if vm.supports?(:reconfigure_network_adapters) but there are still some provider specific call outs like if vm.kind_of?(ManageIQ::Providers::Vmware::CloudManager::Vm) Most of these types of forms have moved over to DDF where the provider is allowed to describe the form rather than it being in the UI repo. There are also requests to allow the administrator to restrict the values presented to the end-user so something to keep in mind when we design this. [ref]

Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager [ref] is a distribution of oVirt with a compatible API. We can add this as another oVirt provider subclass, and as development of oVirt/OLVM continue we can add features here going forward and leave RHV at v4.4SP1 levels.
