Follow-up from the code review of #132 (which hardened the two create_canvas methods against a flaky native teardown crash by reordering to removeWidget() → setParent(None) → deleteLater()). The review flagged two remaining spots that use the older teardown order / skip the reparent step. These are low risk — they operate on static input widgets (a QLabel, ordinary parameter widgets), not on a continuously-repainting matplotlib FigureCanvas like the one that caused the crash in #132 — so they are not believed to reproduce that crash. Filing purely for consistency/defensive hygiene, not as a bug. Sites rnalysis/gui/gui.py:1117-1118 (SetOperationWindow) and rnalysis/gui/gui.py:1360-1361 (SetVisualizationWindow) — the help_link label is torn down as: self.parameter_widgets['help_link'].deleteLater() self.<grid>.removeWidget(self.parameter_widgets['help_link']) i.e. deleteLater() before removeWidget(), and the widget is never reparented. Reorder to removeWidget() → (setParent

Type of change Documentation — correct outdated dependency instructions. Problem docs/source/installation.rst tells Linux users to install qt5-image-formats-plugins (Debian/Ubuntu) / qt5-qtimageformats (Fedora) so the in-app tutorial videos will play. RNAlysis switched to Qt6 in v4.1.0, so the Qt5 image-format plugins are the wrong package. Locations docs/source/installation.rst: 76–78. Suggested fix Update to the Qt6 equivalents (e.g. qt6-image-formats-plugins on Debian/Ubuntu; please confirm the correct current Fedora package name before merging).

Type of change Documentation bug — commands don't run. Problem The "From sources" section of docs/source/installation.rst shows: $ python -m pip setup.py install $ python -m pip setup.py install .[all] python -m pip setup.py install is not a valid command (pip has no setup.py subcommand), and .[all] is mis-placed in the second line. Locations docs/source/installation.rst: 140, 146. Suggested fix Replace with modern equivalents: $ pip install . $ pip install .[all]

Type of change Documentation bug — copy-paste-breaking code examples. Problem In docs/source/user_guide.rst (the programmatic-interface guide — the one place code examples must be runnable), ~18 code examples read: >>> from *RNAlysis* import filtering The *RNAlysis* is reST emphasis markup that leaked into a literal code block, so anyone copying the example gets a SyntaxError. It should be from rnalysis import …. Locations docs/source/user_guide.rst: 20, 243, 1036, 1043, 1049, 1056, 1063, 1092, 1119, 1179, 1777, 1805, 1819, 1832, 1859, 1933, 1950, 1965. Suggested fix Replace from *RNAlysis* import <module> with from rnalysis import <module> in all listed code blocks. Mechanical find/replace, good first issue.
